The Interesting Tale about One of India’s Greatest Scientist.

One of India's greatest scientist, CV Raman made groundbreaking discoveries in the field of Light along with his student K.S. Krishnan.

The Raman Effect named after him instantly became famous all over the world and he was sure that he would win the Nobel Prize for Physics.

However, the Nobel Prize for Physics was awarded to Owen Richardson that year.

Next year, Louis de Broglie won the award.

Raman was sure that the award will be his that year and booked his tickets in July although the winners were going to be announced four months later.
